The Archbishop of Baltimore has dispensed all members of the faithful of the Archdiocese of Baltimore from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass, including those parishioners who are ill, or suspect they are ill with a contagious illness or are concerned that they may become ill by attending Mass.
Dear CCASTA Parishioners,
As we all get used to these new times of the coronavirus epidemic, we need to rely on our Faith in the Lord more then ever. In these times of fear and anxiety let us turn to the Lord our rock and strength for guidance, protection and to bring this epidemic swiftly to an end.
Also, on some practical notes, please remember that if you are not feeling well, recovering from an illness, or have been around someone who is sick, do not come to Mass. You are released from the obligation to attend Mass. This is not only for your wellbeing, but to keep others healthy as well.
During this unsettling time, I am asking all parishioners to please join me in prayer to Our Blessed Lady Help of the Sick by using this prayer over the next few weeks:
In Christ,
Fr. John
