Prayer Shawl Ministry

The CCASTA Prayer Shawl Ministry currently has over 30 members and meets in the St Augustine Burke Wing every 2^nd Saturday of the month from 1PM – 3PM. Some of our members knit, and some crochet, and those with fewer skills make Linus blankets. Beautiful lap blankets, shawls, scarves, hats, and socks are continuously created and donated to those in need. No needle skills are necessary – we are happy to teach you. Bring your own yarn or flannel and your appetite because we always serve refreshments.

Each year the Prayer Shawl ministry donates hundreds of items to shelters, emergency services, pregnancy centers, and the bereaved. These are the dates we will meet in 2021-2022:
